A thousand years ago there was fire in the skies
Ash across the land and fear in our eyes
A prophecy foretold of a mere peasant boy
Impervious to fire and hellish roaring noise

Rah goes the dragon

There was a time when there was hope
Before man fell to his knees
Children frolicked the fields
And kings all reigned in peace
But on this dying earth
Our lives the demon seized
Now everything's a fray
We live below in misery

One day in the wilderness they found a starving lad
Who lost his only family and everything he had
They took him in, fed him and raised him to be strong
he Swore he'd drive the dragons from the land where we belong

Rah goes the dragon

One day the bastard boy took up his sword and said to the mighty beast, "Depart from these lands or surrender your head!" The beast said, "Nay! For I am lord of the air and burner of worlds, and your kind is the only real filth on this earth!" The boy said "Today is your day, your day to die!" And with a growling breath of fire the dragon said "We shall see!"
